Other info that might be useful

16/11 - I had this saved as draft on the blog so I had it all in the same place for future reference, but thought I might as well publish it so everything is on view at the same time.

Parent booklets such as these might be useful if we do workshops?
(would be easy to pull together from the policies you sent me)

Some schools used these leaflets for each year group (one for each term - not sure if they distribute them termly or just put them all on their website):

A few examples of the numeracy info other schools have on their websites for comparison, as there is quite a lot of variation in what schools publish.  I've tried to pull what I think/hope are the best bits from all the ones I looked at:

Coxhoe Primary  http://www.schooljotter.com/showpage.php?id=35518
Far too many links??!!  They have loads of links for every subject.....

Red Oaks  http://www.redoaks.org/maths_00.php
Targets for each level, links to presentations on methods etc, mathletics leader board

Generic links for parents, nothing specific to the operations etc

St Michael's CE  http://www.stmichaelslichfield.org.uk/numeracy/
Progression documents

Marpool Primary   http://marpoolprimaryschool.co.uk/maths-information-leaflets-for-parents/
A cross between the progression documents and the maths target sheets

Joy Lane  http://www.joylane.kent.sch.uk/school_policies.html
Publish their mathematics and calculation policies on website

Haywards Primary  http://www.haywards.devon.sch.uk/wp-content/uploads/calc-policy.pdf
Another school that publishes their calculation policy but this one looks nicer!
